How to play

  • Click run game
  • Click in the window
  • Press space bar to grab the cheese and gain 1 point.
  • If you grab the cheese REALLY well, you'll get 5 points.

What's this for?

I wanted to test out ideas an action-game-esque context. Concepts:

  • Warm-up. Mouse and cheese each have a "warm up" or "lead in" before they're actually on their way. The cheese's is more exaggerated.
  • Time-windows. The time window for just getting the cheese is pretty wide as-is. There's a much more limited window in which the mouse can crit the cheese. 
  • Cooldown. The mouse must return before it can run again. 
  • Ease in/out and interpolation. Mouse and cheese use different interpolation.
  • Smearing/fudging. The cheese isn't dropped at the same position every time, nor to the same "destination."
